Liz and Matt emailed me recently asking if we could get together for their session at Timber Pointe in Hudson, Il. Matt was recently hired as their facilities manager plus they would be getting married at the on-site lodge in October.
Never having visited the area previously I thought it was a community park of sorts, which sounded completely fine with me as the weather was wonderful. Well, it’s a park all right — as in 170 beautiful acres with open fields, a pretty lake and gorgeous hiking trails. Wow.
Timber Pointe is owned and operated by Easter Seals to benefit individuals with disabilities or special needs and their families in a safe, accessible and beautiful environment. Not only that, but Liz and Matt will get to live in the park just a few yards from the lake itself (!). Sweet.
